Despite recommendations from the CDC that people wear masks when going out in public, many grocery stores say it's a struggle convincing shoppers to cover their face.
Major grocery chains like Walmart, Target, and Wegman's would prefer shoppers wear a mask, but don't want to start confrontations or turn customers away.
According to a recent poll, roughly 60 percent of Americans wear face masks when leaving their homes.
