Randy Houser Tributes Kenny Rogers With 'Love Will Turn You Around'

Randy Houser is one of many artists mourning the loss of country legend, Kenny Rogers. This week Houser revealed that he had actually gone into a studio to record a cover of Rogers' "Love Will Turn You Around."

"Kenny Rogers was a huge influence on me as a singer and artist," Hoser said on Instagram. "When I heard he passed, I was hurt like many others. Since I have been home I went downstairs into my studio and decided I would do something to hopefully honor him. So, here it is. I hope this helps bring some peace and positivity to the world in his honor."

Rogers co-wrote "Love Will Turn You Around" with Thom Schuyler, David Malloy and Even Stevens. It was originally released as the lead single from his album of the same title in 1982.

Rogers will be further honored with a performance during Sunday's special ACM Presents: Our Country. Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker will perform "Lucille," and "The Gambler" and Luke Bryan will sing "Coward Of The Country" in his honor.

ACM Presents: Our Country will air on CBA at 8 PM ET on April 5 in place of the originally scheduled 2020 ACM Awards. A list of other performers and songs they will sing can be seen here.

Rogers passed away on March 20 at the age of 81-years-old. "The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25 p.m. at the age of 81," a statement posted on his social media said. "Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family."
