Airline Will Pay Passengers Over $8K If They Catch Coronavirus After Trip

A Vietnamese airline, Vietjet, is doing their best to get customers to fly on their planes. Since the coronavirus outbreak, people aren't really going out of their homes let alone traveling out of their cities.

The airline offers the "Sky Covid Care" insurance, with coverage ranging from "20,000,000 VND to a maximum of 200,000,000 VND."

When you convert is to U.S. dollars that comes to: from $859.02 to $, 20 if they're flying on a domestic fli 8,593. All customers are eligible when flying on Vietjet from March 23 to June 30.

A statement on their website read:

With the insurance, passengers are eligible for insurance coverage and benefits from Vietjet within 30 days starting at 00:01 of the flight date, regardless of how passengers are infected with the disease.
