2011 Movie Predicting Virus Becomes Most Streamed Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Cover your mouth and wash your hands, we've heard this our entire lives but it feels like we've heard it more than ever these past few weeks due to the Coronavirus.

So while we're all in quarantine, we're looking for things to do! We can't just go on the internet all day (some of us can but we shouldn't just be doing that!) Lol.

A movie you should really consider watching is, Contagion. The movie was released almost a decade ago, 2011, and it's a movie that's very similar to what's going on with us and the Coronavirus!

Warner Bros, who distributed the film announced it is currently the most in demand film in its catalog behind the Harry Potter franchise.

“Contagion” focuses on a virus called “MEV-1.” It originates in Asia and transmits through touch - symptoms start with a severe cough and go downhill rapidly.

It goes on to kill 26 million people around the world, looking at the concept of social distancing, as well as the spread of misinformation in the digital age. Watch the trailer above!
