Public Enemy Gives Flavor Flav the Boot After Bernie Sanders Rally Feud

Well, it looks like Public Enemy will be moving forward without its hypeman, Flavor Flav. The news of Flav getting the boot came Sunday evening as the group’s co-founder Chuck D took the stage at a rally for Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders. In a statement to Rolling Stone, Public Enemy said, “Public Enemy and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav, we thank him for his years of service and wish him well.”

Flavor Flav, 60, has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bernie Sanders after claims that the group would perform at his rally in Los Angeles. Flav said he didn’t have a problem with Chuck D or his political views but felt that it wasn’t his place to speak on behalf of the group.

Do you think Chuck D was wrong for giving Flavor Flav the boot?
