Online Dating Site Gets Sued For Having Fake Accounts! Details Here!

Serial Killer Conviction Prompts Police To Warn Of Dating App Dangers

Uh Oh!!! Match.com is being sued by the Federal Trade Commission! In a new lawsuit they are claiming that they relied on "fake accounts created by fraudsters" to get new users to come to the sit and start paying for their services.

So it's "free" to use Match but if you sign up for a membership then you can message other users. HOWEVER the site apparently used "fake" accounts to entice users to sign-up!

They said about 35% - 30% of accounts were fake! Apparently before a user would officially sign up they got messages from fake accounts, but once they were signed up the site says they tried to make sure they wouldn't get messages from those fake accounts.
