This movie looks amazing and it's a story that MUST be told! The movie stars Cynthia Erivo, Janelle Monáe, Joe Alwyn and Leslie Odom Jr.
The script was written by Gregory Allen Howard who also wrote Ali and Remember the Titans!
Cynthia spoke about the playing Harriet - “The story is such an important one to tell, and it’s crazy that it hasn’t been told yet,” - “I think that everyone needs to learn about this woman. There’s always a fear when you’re portraying a woman who means a great deal to a lot of people, and you want to make sure that you do her justice.”
So far it looks like they for sure have done Harriet justice. The movie hits theaters November 1st.
