The backlash against 6ix9ine continues to grow as Snoop Dogg has weighed in on news that the rapper has hired high profile defense lawyer Alex Spiro to help fight his case.
In an Instagram message posted Wednesday, Snoop wrote simply, "Let that rat rot. G code."
The comment reflects a growing attitude among 6ix9ine's former peers, many of whom have turned on him since he reportedly began cooperating with authorities to get a lighter sentence.
6ix9ine, who's already serving time on federal racketeering charges, plead guilty to multiple charges after striking a deal with the feds. He's due to be sentenced in January.
