7 years ago, rapper Mike Knox from the famous rap group "G-Unit" was arrested and charged with identity theft and bank fraud. After serving a ninety-four month stint in prison, the Philadelphia rapper was quick to take to instagram share his status with his fans, saying "I am just taking it all in it feels good to be home after 7 years in the feds I am coming for everything I deserve."
Knox also made sure to reach out to his long time friend and collaborator, 50 Cent, who actually sent the bus that picked up Knox from prison. In Knox's Instagram video, he expresses his desire to get right back into the studio as soon as possible, "I'm ready to get busy, you know I gotta get in that studio!" Knox said to 50. Knox also connected with his G-Unit associates, Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid, saying "It's time to get back and turn up, you know what it is!" It's safe to say that Knox is eager to hit the ground running.
Could a reunion album be in the making? After all, 7 years is a long time to come up with some hits. New songs or not, we're all happy to see Mike Knox free again.
