YNW Melly Faces Possible Death Penalty For Double Murder Case

YNW Melly, formally known as Jamell Demons, was arrested on February 13th, 2019, and charged with two counts of pre-meditated first-degree murder of two of his closest friends, Anthony "YNW Sakchaser" Williams, and Christopher "YNW Juvy" Thomas Jr.

Florida police have said that they can "easily prove" that YNW Melly and an accomplish (YNW Bortlen) staged the murder of his two friends as a drive-by shooting, reportedly driving the two men's dead bodies around before taking them to the hospital. The police have also said that Melly and Borten shot their own car to make it look as if they were targeted.

TMZ uncovered new legal documents made public by the State of Florida that reportedly "make it clear" that prosecutors are looking to punish the rapper to the full extent, stating that, "He [YNW Melly] committed premeditated murder in an especially heinous, atrocious, and cruel manner."

The Florida rapper has since pleaded not guilty, along with his accomplice. Whether he is guilty or not, the constitution states "Innocent until proven guilty", so it's still #FREEMELLY until the decision is made.

Do you guys think that Melly is guilty? If so, is the death penalty too harsh? Comment your thoughts below.
