A petition was submitted on Change.org for Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson to green light the communities request to rename Crenshaw Blvd and Slauson Avenue in the Hyde Park district of L.A. to “Nipsey Hussle Blvd.”
The petition has received over 230,766 and counting signatures in the past 22 hours with a goal to reach 300,000. You can join the movement but by the time you click on this link to sign the petition the goal might have been already surpassed.
Over the past few days, fans have continued to mourn the death of Nipsey Hussle with many fans gathering together in several cities including, New York, Atlanta, and Washington D.C., for vigils in Nipsey’s honor.
