Are Prayers and Condolences Enough After A Mass Shooting? [LISTEN]

The Neighborhood reacts to another mass shooting except this one occurred close to home in Thousand Oaks. Twelve families are left to mourn after a 29-year-old man decided to walk into Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks and open fire on many who were college students. "They ran out of the back doors, they broke windows, they went through windows. They hid up in the attic, they hid in the bathroom," Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean said. One of the first victims was Ventura County sheriff deputy, Ron Helus, that went in save those that were inside but was fatally shot and will forever be remembered as a hero. It feels as though we are hearing of these tragedies are happening too often. The prayers and condolences don't seem to be the solution or enough for the amount of lives that are being lost but what will it take?
