If you're like us, you're prolly beginning to think this suppose joint album between J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar is just a myth because the wait has been way too long.
Back in 2010 is when we heard first from Kendrick himself that the two had something that in the vault that was going to shake up the world.
J.Cole confirmed that back in 2013 while taking to our very own Bootleg Kev and to fast forward to 2015, fans were surprised when the two rappers released a surprise joint track 'Black Friday' where they are both free styling on each other's beat.
With all this going back and forth when their "joint album" should be dropping, the since both have released only solo projects.
So the real question is, is there an album or nah?
Well one of TDE's right hand man Punch shared an interesting album cover n his Instagram leading fans to believing this might be the cover of Kendrick and Cole's joint album
This sparked speculation since the rappers have made a 'Forbidden Fruit" track that is featured on Cole's Born Sinner album. This is also not the first time Punch has made an subliminal post regarding the joint album.
Punch has yet to respond or confirm speculation so who knows if there will be an album in general.
