Lupe Fiasco is retracting his comments about Kendrick Lamar’s talents after an Instagram live video where the Chicago rapper apologized for his former remarks about the Lamar. Peep the video below:
“I apologize for even engaging and talking about n----- careers, I’ll never do that s--- again.”
In January, Fiasco stated that he didn’t think Kendrick was a “top tier lyricist” but now says he was only judging Lamar on his Control verse, Lupe has since deleted his Instagram video but took to Twitter to clarify his comments, “His overall lyrics are good, his stories phenomenal, but punchline entendre lyrically I don’t see it," he tweeted.
