I must admit, when I decided to see "Detroit", I didn't have much of an understanding of the story. However, it intrigued me more because I love watching new movies without an already formed opinion.
If you have yet to watch this movie, I HIGHLY recommend. Within the first 10 minutes I was engaged in the story line. My emotions ranged, but I was mostly upset throughout the entire film. I left the theater with "what-ifs" on my mind. And I wanted more of an explanation as to why things turned out the way they did. But if you know your history, you know those injustices are unfortunately part of the norm.
I rate it: Movie Theater (whether on a date or with the family [yes, it's safe for the 13 and up audience)] TV, and streaming worthy.
