State Of California To Name Part Of The 134 Freeway After Barack Obama

This is pretty legit.

According to The Los Angeles Times, California State Legislature is planning on naming a stretch of the 134 freeway after former president Barack Obama near Occidental College in Eagle Rock, where the politician attended school.

The state of California wants to honor Obama in this time of distress, claiming that it will boost morale, according to LAMag.com. Makes sense. 

"The portion of the 134 named after him will span the 210 to the 2, which covers his old stomping grounds," they report.
