A new report says Aaron Hernandez had Bible verse John 3:16 scribbled across his forehead in blood red ink when they found him hanging in his cell early Wednesday morning.
Officials at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts found the verse written above his eyes when they responded to the call.
The verse in the book reads, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Hernandez's personal Bible was open to the verse in his cell when he was found.
