No doubt Jordan Peele's directorial debut Get Out is a SMASH, and that was made even more true by the newest record the film just broke.
According to Complex, "Jordan Peele's mystery/thriller/horror flick has gone over the $150 million mark in domestic sales, surpassing 1999's The Blair Witch Project as the highest-grossing debut for a writer-director based on an original screenplay in the process."
Yep! Get Out is now the highest grossing feature film debut for a writer/director of an original screenplay.
Such a big deal!
