Unless you’re part of the Beyhive, you may not have known that Beyoncé was once considered for a role in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast.
While Disney director, Bill Condon, knew Emma Watson would play Belle, but Plumette was harder to cast. He landed on Beyoncé for the role of the feather duster; however, seeing that the part was too small for Queen B, she turned it down.
The role ultimately went to Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who did well in the part.
Beyoncé turned down the movie, which ultimately made $1.2 billion, but for the “Cuff It” singer, it was all about respect, not the money.
