Legendary Mexican singer and actor Vicente' Chente' Fernandez has died.
Chente's official Instagram confirmed the news, "Rest in Peace, Mr. Vicente Fernandez. We regret to inform you of his death on Sunday, December 12 at 6:15 am. It was an honor and a great pride to share a great musical career with everyone and to give everything for his audience. Thank you for continuing to applaud, thank you for continuing to sing."
The family did not confirm the cause of death but the singer had been dealing with medical complications since falling at his home this past summer.
During his career, he recorded over 50 albums and sang popular songs like "Volver, Volver," "Por Tu Maldito Amor," and "El Rey."
Fernandez was 81. RIP to the GOAT!
