HS Basketball Team Handed Down Punishment After Throwing Tortillas At Game

The Coronado High School is no longer the Division 4-A Regional Champions even though they won the game against Orange Glen High School of Escondido. The powers that be in High School Sports in California has decided to strip their Championship after the incident that happened after the Championship Game. For those who don't know the story, Coronado is a primarily caucasian school and after they won the game in a close overtime win a scuffle started. The Coronado coaches decided to talk some crap to the other coaches and then players got involved and when the two teams came together the Coronado players threw tortillas at Orange Glen. You say what is the problem with this? It's just tortillas? Well, Orange Glen is a primarily Latino school so how in the hell did tortillas just happen to show up? Coronado is no longer Champions and the California Interscholastic Federation gave their reason "degrading and demeaning behavior" The Coronado Coach was fired a few weeks ago but now I wonder what is going to happen with the team for next season.
