A teen was denied his high school diploma during graduation because he wore a Mexican flag over his shoulders when he was walking on stage during the ceremony.
This happened in North Carolina in Asheboro High School and now, several videos of what happened have been circulating around social media.
In one clip, you see the teen with his Mexican flag around his shoulders as he's getting ready to receive his diploma when he then gets stopped by what looks to be high school officials. They exchange words with the teen and then the high school decides to kick out the teen along with his family.
In another post, the school allegedly said that they would give then teen his diploma if he apologize for wearing the Mexican flag. No word yet if the teen or the family will follow through with an apology.
