Walmart says it will close its U.S. stores on Thanksgiving again for the second year in a row.
The retail store released a full statement earlier today in which it stated:
"Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day is one way we’re saying ‘thank you’ to our teams for their dedication and hard work this year," said Dacona Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Walmart U.S. "We hope everyone will take the opportunity to be with their loved ones during what’s always a special time.”
According to reports, Walmart will continue with regular facilitated hours on Wednesday, November 24. As for Friday, November 26, the store will announce the hours later in the year.
