Man Obtains Millions In COVID-19 Relief Loans To Live Luxurious Lifestyle

Ca-ching!!

An Irvine, California man is accused of getting $5 million dollars in COVID-19 relief loans to live out his best luxury lifestyle ever.

According to NBC News, 38-year-old Mustafa Qadir used the money he got from the loans to buy three cars from a 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S, and a Bentley Continental GT. All costing around 6 figures each.

However, earlier this week the man was arrested and charged by authorities. He was charged with an indictment with four counts of bank fraud, four counts of wire fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft and six counts of money laundering.

It is reported that Qadir obtained the money "for payroll and company expenses that did not exist," and then the money was sent to several accounts that he had.

Well, talk about trying to cheat the system.
