DMX’s Music Streams Increased By Nearly 1,000 Percent Following His Death

As fans all around the world continue to mourn the loss of DMX, his music is seeing a new peek.

According to Billboard, the legendary New York MC's music catalog has increased over 900% in the recent days following his passing.

MCR Data says X's tracks reached 75.7 million on demand streams, both audio and video combined on April 9th. And on the April 10th, they went up 928%.

While his most top streamed songs have been “Ruff Ryders Anthem” (9.59 million; up 973%), “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” (5.79 million; up 900%), “Slippin’” (5.52 million; up 853%), “Party Up (In Here)” (5.20 million; up 941%) and “How It’s Goin’ Down,” with Faith Evans (3.52 million; up 691%).

Collectively both, DMX's songs and albums sold 101,000 copies between Friday, April 9 and Sunday, 11th.
