What Are the Restrictions When It Comes to the New Stay-at-Home Orders?

Starting today Los Angeles County is on a new stay-at-home order and new restrictions are in place. But what does this mean, here's a break down of the new rules.

people should not gather with anyone outside their own household.

It also orders essential retail businesses limited to 35% capacity and 20% for non-essential retail

Gyms can stay open at 50% capacity but are only allowed to operate outdoors.

Businesses operating outdoors — including fitness centers, museum galleries, zoos, gardens, aquariums, batting cages, mini-golf and go-kart racing — are all allowed 50% maximum occupancy.

Outdoor recreation activities all which require face coverings (except for swimming) and distancing:

Beaches, trails, and parks remain open; gatherings at these sites with members outside your household are prohibited.

Golf courses, tennis courts, pickleball, archery ranges, skate parks, bike parks, and community gardens remain open for individuals or members of a single household.

Pools that serve more than one household may open only for regulated lap swimming with one person per lane.

Drive-in movies/events/car parades are permitted provided occupants in each car are members of one household.

Closed non-essential businesses/activities: Playgrounds (with the exception of playgrounds at childcare and schools) and Card rooms.

The order at this time will be lifted on December 20th.
