There were so many great moments during the NBA Draft last night and one of those moments for sure was when RJ Hampton was drafted.
Usually when a player is drafted they'll give the new player a hat with the team's logo. However after RJ was drafted by the Bucks, they handed him the hat, but his Dad grabbed it immediately and tossed it.
Did he not want his son going to the Bucks?! That's not the reason, he tossed it because the Bucks had traded the 24th pick to the New Orleans Pelicans, who had then traded the pick to the Denver Nuggets. Which means RJ was never going to go to the Bucks.
RJ's Dad knew this and just didn't want the Bucks hat on his son! That makes sense!!
RJ eventually got the right hat!
