West Coast States Recommend 14-Day Quarantine For Out Of State Travelers

With the holidays around the corner, the Center for Disease Control (DCD) is recommending all out of state travelers to quarantine the first 14-days when traveling.

ABC 7 reports that the governors of the West Coast states of California, Washington and Oregon have issued an advisory due to the United States seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases.

California Governor Gavin Newsom said the spread of coronavirus in the state shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, which is why we need to stay safe.

"(Increased cases are) threatening the lives of seniors, essential workers and vulnerable Californians. Travel increases the risk of spreading COVID-19, and we must all collectively increase our efforts at this time to keep the virus at bay and save lives," Newsom said in a press release.

Californians are also urged to stay local and only interact with those who are taking COVID-19 precautions.

We want to know, will you be traveling this holiday season?
