The series is titled Colin in Black and White.
No date yet on when the limited series will air. Jaden Michael (The Get Down and Wonderstruck) has been cast as a young, high school-aged Kaepernick.
The series will show Kaepernick growing up with a white adoptive family, becoming a famous quarterback, and the experience that led to him becoming an activist.
