I gotta say a lot of my single friends have said the pandemic has really slows their dating life down! But a few others said they've had the time to meet new people thanks to dating apps!
But some health officials are throwing out some advice when it comes to hooking up during the pandemic! Two main things, avoid kissing new people and wear a mask while having sex! Ummm ok?!
Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada's Chief Public Health Officer suggests "avoiding face-to-face contact or closeness."
"Current evidence indicates there is a very low likelihood of contracting the novel coronavirus through semen or vaginal fluids. However, even if the people involved do not have symptoms, sexual activity with new partners does increase your risk of getting or passing Covid-19 through close contact, like kissing," her statement.
Of course no matter what you should always practice safe sex! Use protection!
