Eligible Los Angeles renters in need of rent relief caused by the coronavirus pandemic can apply for $2,000 in funds from the city starting today.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 13, L.A. residents can apply for the program either online and by phone.
The application will remain open all week through Friday, July 17, at 11:59 p.m.
Not everyone is eligible, it's only to L.A. households living in apartments or duplexes, making less than 80% of the Area Median Income. For a one person household, $58,450 or less annually.
A family of four, under $83,500 per year.
