California To Give Cash Payments To Immigrants Hurt By Coronavirus

Can we go ahead and say Gov. Gavin Newsom is an amazing leader? He really is!

He announced today that California will be giving cash payments to immigrants living in the country illegally.

The money is coming from a mix of taxpayer and charitable contributions to give over 100,000 adults $500 each during these hard times. Taxpayers are putting in $75 million and a group of other charities will be raising another $50 million. The money won't be distributed based on people's incomes, Newsom said that personal information won't be required to get the support.

With over 2 million immigrants living in California, they're not eligible for the stimulus package that's currently being sent out to residents. So hopefully this can help.

I love this, we need to all come together and help each other out like this.

Please continue to stay home and stay safe!

Keep up the amazing work Cali, we're flattening the curve!
