No LAUSD Student Will Get An ‘F’ On Spring Report Card Amid Coronavirus

Times have been so crazy for everyone and it’s been a pretty difficult school year. The coronavirus has shut schools down for a month already and LAUSD students won’t return until the Fall.

What about their grades?!

The Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent, Austin Beutner, announced earlier today that no student will receive a failing grade on their spring report card.

Beutner explained why students wouldn’t see their existing grades drop, ”Students can work to improve their grades, but we don't want to penalize those who may not have had access to technology or may be experiencing difficulties at home.
