There is a nurse Shelby that works in The Bay, she was one of the first nurses on the front lines of fighting Covid-19!
Obviously that is a very hard thing to do and it took it's toll on Shelby, so she decided she needed something to help her! She grabbed a Steph Curry jersey that she had, and went to work. After that she posted a photo and shared her story online! In the post she wrote
“I found myself feeling powerless and defeated,” - “It was in that moment that I knew I needed to summon my inner warrior. So I threw on my Steph jersey under my scrubs and started brainstorming how I could be part of the solution.”
Well that story got to Steph and he decided to thank her! He found a way to arrange a Facetime call with her!
The real heroes are these nurses and doctors and it's very sweet of Steph to recognize that!
