Were you waiting on Dave Chappelle to come out this Sunday and accept the award for his Netflix comedy "Sticks & Stones.”
You're not alone if you were disappointed to know he wasn't there to accept that award.
Can you imagine how epic that speech would be?
We wouldn't know because Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker accepted the accolade on his behalf.
So why wasn't he there?
L.A. Traffic.
“It was nothing more than #LATraffic,” his rep told Page Six.
Can't hate on that, I mean you can argue and say "well he should know about that L.A. traffic," but we also don't know what happened before going to the Grammy's.
Maybe he had something or someone holding him back because he did end up making it to the Grammy's.
