30 percent of stolen packages in America are happening in Cali! Ugh.
Stop, leave my Amazon orders alone!! *mad face*
San Francisco came on top of the list, Los Angeles *sad face* and Sacramento made it to the top ten.
This is one Top Ten list you don't want to be on!
How do we avoid it? Here are some helpful tips:
"In order to prevent piracy, experts are advising installing a doorbell camera or having your packages delivered to your workplace.
Pasadena Police Department Lt. Bill Grisafe uses a doorbell camera to make sure his packages are safe.
Other options include picking up packages at the post office or at UPS and FedEx stores.
Amazon customer Andrew White uses hub lockers after he had a number of packages lost.
“It makes it easier if you’re getting packages from the locker to keep it from being stolen from the porch,” said White.
Experts recommend customers making sure their packages are delivered when someone will be home.
Amazon packages can also be sent with a signature release, meaning that someone will have to sign for the delivery
