In 2016 Kim Kardashian was tied up and robbed while she was in Paris! It was a very scary situation and caused Kim to be off social media for awhile! I can't imagine how terrified she was.
Well now it looks like someone is using that story as inspiration for a new movie. According to reports, a french comic book artist and filmmaker named Joann Sfar recently finished a graphic novel inspired by the headline-making robbery. And now is developing a French film loosely based on the incident.
Joann said the film will be a comedy exploring the themes of feminism, masculinity and patriarchy in today's society. . The movie at the moment is called "Fashion Week." Joann told Variety that the film will address “violence against women, the relationship between the very rich people and the less rich, the world of fashion and the encounter between figures of new and old worlds.”
Not going to lie though, sounds a bit like Ocean's 8. Where a bunch of thieves plan to steal some jewelry from a celebrity. Except there was no violence.
Also E! News is bringing back True Hollywood Stories and one of the episodes will center around Kim's Robbery!
