Jennifer Lopez Sued For $150,000 After Sharing a Photo With Alex Rodriguez

Rule of thumb for Instagram, if you don't own the picture then don't post it!

Well, most of the time you'll only have an issue if you're a celebrity or a major company.

Why can't you post a pic if you didn't take it?You can get sued for copyright that's why!

According to The Blast,

News and Picture Agency is suing J.Lo.
The suit explains, “This is an action for copyright infringement brought by plaintiff, the holder of the copyright to the photograph described below, against defendant for use of plaintiff’s photograph without authorization or permission.”
Splash says they own the copyright to a photo “depicting Lopez holding hands with her then-boyfriend and now-husband Alex Rodriguez while out for breakfast in New York City.”
Splash says, “Specifically, Lopez or someone acting on her behalf copied the Photograph and distributed it on Instagram, via the @jlo account, on a story posted November 7, 2017.”
