Anyone else waking up with itchy mosquito bites around their ankle?

Okay, I'm not alone and you're not either!

There are two new (to us) versions of Aedes mosquitos that are taking over Southern Cali and I want them to leave!

New bugs = new diseases and I just wanna live my best life dammit!

What's the big deal?

"They are efficient at transmitting (spreading) several human arboviruses including chikungunya, dengue, yellow fever, and Zika. In recent U.S. history, Aedes mosquitoes were responsible for Zika outbreaks in Florida, Texas, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. If you travel (Europe, Asia and South America), please be aware you could be a carrier of these diseases and not know it!"
