Earlier this year Netflix announced that they were working on a series about the life and death of Selena! The crazy part about the announcement was that they didn't even have anyone casted as Selena! But that's not the case anymore!
Netflix might have just found their Selena, apparently Christian Serratos is in negotiations to play Selena Quintanilla-Pere. If you're a "The Walking Dead" fan then you for sure know who she is! She played Rosita Espinosa since 2014.
Netflix has not announced a release date but don't hold your breath, it will be awhile till we see the show. Just think about it, if they're JUST finding an actress to play Selena, it means, they still have to film everything and edit it. So MAYBE just maybe we'll get the show late 2020. Apparently production will start next month and the show will run for two seasons.
