This was the news we were waiting for, the verdict to come in from Sweden! As you know back in June A$AP Rocky and two members of his entourage were in a fight with two other guys while in Sweden! After A$AP was arrested he was in jail for a month!
After a trial the courts decided that while they come up with a verdict they would allow A$AP to come back home!
Today the Stockholm District Court rejected the performer's claim that the trip had ben acting in self-defense. The ruling said
"Based on statements from two witnesses, the court finds that the defendants were not subject to a current or imminent criminal attack,"
The defense tried to say that A$AP used a bottle in the fight but A$AP says he was holding the bottle but never used it in the fight! There was no video proof! However the courts said A$AP's lawyers didn't prove that he didn't use it!
So the courts today revealed their verdict, they decided that A$AP is Guilty but will NOT have to serve anymore Prison time. He will however have to pay restitution to the victim and also pay Sweden's court expenses!
So they decided that A$AP was found Guilty, however he will NOT have to return to prison! They feel that he served enough time, he will have to pay restitiuion
