Brother Strangles Sister Over Wifi Password, Receives Life In Prison

This story is so crazy!

A teen in Georgia was sentenced to life in prison for strangling his older sister to death after an argument over the Wifi password.

Kevon Watkins, 16, was sentenced to life in prison on Friday.

After a heated argument between Kevon and his mother, his sister Alexus Watkins, 20, stepped in to help.

According to Yahoo News, Kevon changed the password to the wifi because sharing the connection was slowing down his Xbox.

When his mom tried to take the console out of his room things got a little crazy and almost violent. That's when his sister Alexus stepped in to calm things down.

His 13 year old brother tried to get him to stop choking their sister, but wasn't able to and the police were called.

That was the moment Watkins held his sister in a chokehold for 15 minutes, the police were called, and that's the moment he let go of her.

Yahoo News wrote:

“Get up off the floor,” Latoya Watkins told her daughter.

She didn’t.

“I started screaming,” Latoya testified last week in Bibb County Superior Court, reports the Macon Telegraph.

“I’m sorry,” Kevon said through tears as he was led from the courtroom, according to the outlet.

“He couldn’t really explain to me why he didn’t release her,” Bibb County sheriff’s investigator Marcus Baker testified during Kevon’s two-day trial, reports theTelegraph.

When Baker told Kevon his sister was dead and arrested him for murder, “He cried. I cried too,” Baker testified, according to the newspaper. “It’s a sad situation.”

“I never intended to kill her at all,” Kevon testified in tears during his trial, according to theTelegraph.

“She taught me most everything I know.”"

Kevon has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering his sister.
