Racist Prom Proposal Causes Outrage at Palos Verdes High School

I don't understand people sometimes, how did he think this was "sweet" or OK?

A "promposal" sign from the Palos Verdes community has sparked a lot of outrage, for the right reasons.

In the photo, two teens from Palos Verdes High School are standing next to each other and laughing while holding a sign with a racist message.

The sign read: "BiaNca You are racIst but I would Give anything for you to Go with mE to PRom."

Since then the students involved have apologized claiming they didn't know that the sign would be hurtful but their classmates believe they knew what they were doing.

Principal Dr. Allan Tyner released a statement following the outrage:

"At this time, I Am asking all teachers and parents in our school community to join me in reminding our students that we live in a society that must respect diversity and tolerance."
