Kodak Black can't seem to shake trouble and chaos in his life, recently arrested before his performance at Rolling Loud in Miami. According to court documents, Kodak was hit with a two count indictment after he lied to the grand jury about trying to purchase firearms. He is being charged with making a false statement in the acquisition and attempted acquisition of a firearm.
What that means is that when Kodak went to purchase firearms at a gun store in Florida, he stated on the application that he was not facing any serious or current charges at the moment of purchasing the gun. However, it turns out, that was a lie, Kodak, in fact, had a case pending, and is also a felon currently facing 30 years in prison for allegedly raping a South Carolina high school student. That trial has been delayed at Kodak’s request. After all that and recently being arrested at the Canadian – U.S. border with a loaded gun, Kodak truly had no business whatsoever in that gun store.
Apparently Kodak's arrest at Rolling Loud by the local police and agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Marshals, who said the arrest came as the result of an “extensive investigation.” Kodak could be facing 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
