It may have gone unnoticed, but Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar have somewhat of beef that just hasn’t gone away, in a previously unreleased snipped Kendrick seem to fire shots at the Detroit rapper.
"I think his false confidence got him inspired I can't make them respect you, baby. It's not my job," Kendrick raps, "You 'Finally Famous' for who you date, not how you rhyme cute ass bars get your subliminal up."
The snippet may be a throw away from his DAMN album the lyric stems from Kendrick’s verse on Control, where he calls out Sean.
Ironically, Big Sean left the song off of his Hall of Fame album and even commented about its negativity. "People love drama, people love bullshit. I knew when Kendrick did that name-dropping that it was just gonna set it off, and I could see why people gravitate towards that verse for that reason,” Sean told Complex in an interview.
Do you think Big Sean doesn’t want to respond because he doesn’t want to battle Kendrick or because he’s staying away from negativity?
