Sources say dozens of workers at Northwestern Memorial Hospital have been fired for "improperly reviewing the medical records" of Smollett after his alleged attack.
One nurse said it was a misunderstanding, that she innocently scrolled past Smollett's name looking for another patient.
The hospital refused to comment on the status of any of its employees.
