Kodak Black went on stage at LIV in Miami to share publicly his distaste for Lil Wayne, Wayne who usually is at LIV on most nights wasn’t on this particular night, prompting Kodak to ask about his whereabouts. "Where Lil Wayne?" Kodak can be heard saying in the video, "You should've died when you was a baby."
Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter clapped back at Kodak on social media writing, "You new lil rappers need to start giving props and respect to the Goat. My father don’t bother nobody. ... You pick the night he didn’t go to LIV to say that. You bold."
Reginae continued by giving her thoughts on Kodak’s album, "This n***a whole album sound like my daddy old s___. Gtfoh."
Kodak got on Instagram Live after Reginae’s comments to say that he wasn’t talking about Lil Wayne and that the whole thing was getting blown out of proportion. Reginae’s mother, Antonia "Toya" Wright got in on the action and commented on Kodak’s post, writing “F___ You!”
Kodak has spoken before on Lil Wayne being “old” and that he wanted to fight him. Kodak will open his Dying To Live Tour in Wayne’s hometown of New Orleans. Do you think New Orleans will give Kodak a warm reception or side with Lil Wayne? What do you think of Kodak’s remarks?
