So Uber has applied for a software to detect drunk people. The reasoning for it is so that it can better match passengers with drivers who are better equipped to deal with people under the influence.
In addition to the safety factor, CNN has reported at least 103 Uber drivers have been accused of sexual assault or misconduct in the past four years!
