Man Who Returned $1 Million Lottery Ticket Has No Regrets

Kal Patel of Salina, Kansas was at his parents' Pit Stop convenience store when he noticed a customer had left a lottery ticket on the counter.  The clerk ran the numbers and realized the ticket was a million-dollar winner.

Lots of people would be tempted to pocket that ticket for themselves, but Patel drove around the customer's neighborhood until he found the man and told him he was a winner. Patel says he has no regrets about giving up the ticket.  

He said "Good deeds come back to help you, and bad deeds come back to haunt you."  And sure enough, this week Patel was given $1200 to reward his honesty.
