People who have Apple mobile devices are being advised to update the software ASAP.

A big security flaw has been found in Apple's iOS software that could enable hackers to intercept emails and other encrypted communications. Some experts say it's not just mobile devices like iPhones and iPads, but Macs could be exposed too.

The flaw lets hackers gain access to a mobile user's network, such as by sharing the same unsecured wireless service offered by a restaurant or coffee shop, and they could see or alter communication between you and Gmail, Facebook and other services.

Apple has pushed out an update to its iOS7 software.
